Nothing has historically hosted organised events for product launches, general meet-ups and fan-oriented gatherings to celebrate new products, engage with fans and build a sense of community worldwide. These events range from official product launch parties at large venues, to smaller-scale events at Nothing's retail stores, community photo walks and regional drop events at partner retail locations.

Nothing’s first in-person community event was for the launch of Nothing Phone (1), held in London on 12 July 2022, with invitations extended to early community investors and community members holding a Black Dot NFT. The event, titled “Return to Instinct”, allowed NFT holders to register their interest to attend on Premint.^[1]

The event was held at Nothing’s design studio where attendees watched a keynote before being joined by Carl Pei live. Users could get hands on with the Phone (1) while enjoying food, drink and socialising with community members and staff.^[2]

For Nothing Phone (2a), Nothing organised regional launch events, including a large in-person event in Delhi, India. This event was hosted at Yashobhoomi, India’s largest convention and exhibition center which featured heavy Nothing branding styles, including “Bar (1)” and “Bar (2)”, and a giant model of Phone (2a). The keynote included both a pre-recorded video and live stage presentation.^[3]

For the Nothing Phone (3a) Series launch, Nothing India hosted a launch party in Mumbai on 7 March 2025. Community members were invited to register for the chance to attend.^[4] The event featured live music, refreshments, arcade machines, and the chance to get hands on with products and mingle with community members and staff.^[5]

Nothing hosted its main launch event for Nothing Phone (3) and Headphone (1) at the venue Magazine in London. Doors opened to the community in the evening, while an exclusive media event was held earlier in the day. Over 300 journalists and influencers attended the private event, and over 1000 community members, staff and media attended the evening launch. The space included the chance to get hands on with Phone (3) and Headphone (1) with photo booths, photography zoom labs, boules, food and drink and live performances from AJ Tracey, Interplanetary Criminal, Tiffany Calver, Lexii and Nothing’s own staff.^[6,7]

A number of drops and smaller launch events were held across 8 countries in Europe and India, where customers could purchase Phone (3) and receive extra goodies, such as Headphone (1) .^[8,9]

On 5 March 2026, Nothing hosted a live keynote event for the launch of Nothing Phone (4a) Series and Headphone (a).^[10] 5 community members were invited to come along to watch the keynote, interact with staff and products and received merch for attending.^[11] Nothing also hosted a number of drops in cities such as London, Bengaluru, Berlin, Zurich, Salzburg and Bangkok.^[12]

Nothing has released two Community Edition devices in collaboration with members of its community, and has hosted celebrations in line with launches.

On 30 October 2024, Nothing introduced the first in the line, the Phone (2a) Community Edition, a glow-in-the-dark version, co-designed with community members. Nothing organised a launch party at Nothing Store Soho, with some community members, staff and the co-creators responsible for bringing the project to life. At the store, the phone was on display with a special exhibition in the basement.^[13,14]

The second Community Edition phone, the Phone (3a) Community Edition, was released 9 December 2025. Community members were invited to RSVP to another in-store event to celebrate the launch.^[15] Various events were held across Europe and Asia, in countries such as Japan, India, Germany and Austria.^[16]

At Nothing Store Soho, community members, staff and creators were able to get hands on with the new phone and dice, as well as enjoy food, drink and music.^[17] A day later on 10 December, a community event was held in Berlin, with invites sent via Discord. Attendees mingled with staff and creators, played with the Phone (3a) Community Edition and received a goodie bag.^[18] The phone was unavailable to purchase at both events.

On 12 December, Nothing Japan hosted a launch party where customers enjoyed food, drink and could purchase the Phone (3a) Community Edition.^[19,20] It was also on this day that registered users could purchase the device online through nothing.tech.^[21] A day later, on 13 December, Nothing India hosted its own event where they invited community members, hosted a Q&A with Sushruta Sarkar, marketing campaign winner and opened exclusive sales of Phone (3a) Community Edition for India.^[22,23]

Nothing and its retail partners have hosted a number of in-person “drop” events, some titled ‘#THE100 Drops’ due to limited availability, for newly launched products, hosted across the world. Some of these include:

Ear (1) Black edition at the Nothing Kiosk in 2021.^[24,25]

The Phone (2a) drops, which saw 100 units available each with a custom Phone (2a) case and other exciting extras.^[26]

In September 2023, CMF by Nothing held its first drop events in Nothing Store Soho and Superkicks, Delhi. These served as the first opportunity users had to pick up the original CMF devices, including the CMF Watch, cmf_buds and 65W GaN charger.^[27]

On 9 March 2024, a #THE100 drop occurred for Phone (2a) at Nothing Store Soho. Customers had the opportunity to get hands on and purchase Phone (2a), graffiti their own “Fresh Eyes” t-shirt (which was a part of the marketing campaign), meet staff, eat ice cream and use a photo booth.^[28]

For the original Phone (3a) Series, Nothing hosted a drop event at their Nothing Store Soho on 11 March 2025, where customers could experience and buy Nothing Phone (3a) Series, as well as receiving free Ear (a) with any purchase. There was a snake widget tournament and an option for a custom engraving on your new device.^[29]

CMF hosted its second drop in London on 3 May 2025, with customers having the chance to play some games to win prizes, plus the engraving machine made a second appearance as well as branded ice cream.^[30]

Nothing India held a drop event for Nothing Phone (3a) Lite in a coffee roastery in Delhi on 29 November 2025.^[31] Attendees were given freebies and purchasers of the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite also received Ear (open).^[32]

Both Nothing Store Soho and Nothing's latest retail location, Nothing Store Bengaluru hosted drop events for Nothing Phone (4a) Series on 7 March 2026. In London, the first 50 customers received a free Ear (3), and all remaining customers on the day received Ear (a). Headphone (a) was also available.^[33] Meanwhile in Bengaluru, the first 100 customers gained access to an exclusive engraved edition of Phone (4a), along with complimentary Ear (a).^[34] They hosted a separate drop for Phone (4a) Pro on 21 March, where customers also received an engraved edition plus Ear.^[35]

Nothing has held a variety of other in-person community events and photo-walks around the world. One such event was an exclusive community arcade social in London^[36], where community members met up for an evening of retro arcade games, great food and a Mario Kart N64 tournament for prizes. Simultaneously, the team hosted a community gathering in Milan, with a Nothing quiz tempting guests with prizes and various canapés to enjoy.^[37]

Various photo-walks have also taken place, where community members were invited to socialise with other community members and Nothing staff while testing out Nothing phone cameras. These walks have taken place for Phone (2a) in London^[38] and Bengaluru^[39], CMF Phone 1 in London^[40], Phone (3a) Series in Mumbai^[41], CMF Phone 2 Pro in Delhi^[42] and more.

Nothing Store Soho has also hosted a number of London based run clubs, in partnership with Athene Club and Run Your Mind.^[43]
