Nothing Phone (3) is a premium flagship smartphone developed by Nothing, released in mid-2025. It’s the company’s first device shifting from more mid-range offerings towards higher-end flagship territory, combining top-of-the-range specifications with its signature transparent aesthetic. Phone (3) was the first Nothing phone since Phone (1) to not feature the LED based Glyph Interface, instead featuring a 25 x 25 rear display called Glyph Matrix.
Phone (3)’s tagline was “Come to Play”, likely a pun based on the Glyph Matrix Toys.[1]
History & Launch
Officially announced on 1 July 2025 and priced from £799 / $799 / €799 / ₹79,999 for the entry model. Pre-orders opened on 4 July, with general sales beginning 15 July 2025. The official launch event for media, the community and public was held in Magazine London on 1 July 2025, which included watching the keynote, getting hands on with Phone (3) and Headphone (1), some fun interactive exhibits, and free food, drink, and live music - including AJ Tracey as guest headliner.[2]
There were a number of further drop events & regional launch events around the world including Nothing Store Soho in London[3], and at retail partners in Prague, Stockholm, Paris, Madrid, Frankfurt, Utrecht, Vienna, Zurich[4] and Bengaluru[5], with various deals on offer such as free Headphone (1) and spec upgrades.
Controversially positioned by Nothing as its first “true flagship” device, Phone (3) aimed to compete with the highest tier of Android offerings.[6]
