The CMF Phone 2 Pro is the following model from CMF Phone 1, positioned to offer improved performance, display, and camera capabilities while maintaining CMF's focus on functional design and accessibility.

“Wonderful by Design” was the campaign tagline for the CMF Phone 2 Pro.^[1]

Announced in 28 April 2025 as part of CMF by Nothing's expanded smartphone line up. The device was introduced through official announcements and showcased at launch events, including a public drop in London & India.^[2,1] At launch, official pricing varied by market. CMF Phone 2 Pro carried a manufacturer-suggested retail price of £219 / ₹18,999 / €259 for the 8 + 128GB model. And £249 / ₹20,999 / €289 for the 8 + 256GB model. The CMF Phone 2 Pro was also available in the United States through the Beta Program with a retail price of $279 with the 8 + 256GB model only available.^[3]

Colour Options: CMF Phone 2 Pro was released in White, Black, Orange, & Light Green finishes.

Back Design: CMF Phone 2 Pro continues CMF’s functional design approach, with a clean rear layout and improved overall fit and finish compared to CMF Phone 1. While less experimental in modularity within the back cover from its predecessor, the design focuses on durability and daily usability.

Front Display: A 6.77-inch Flexible AMOLED display with 1080 × 2392 resolution, 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, 2160 Hz PWM frequency and a peak brightness of around 3000 nits. The panel supports high brightness levels and is designed for smooth scrolling and consistent visual performance. A centred punch-hole houses the front camera. Featuring Panda Glass for the protection.

Build: CMF Phone 2 Pro is built with a focus on durability and practicality, continuing CMF by Nothing’s functional design philosophy while moving away from the modular construction used on the CMF Phone 1. Unlike its predecessor, the CMF Phone 2 Pro does not support removable or replaceable back covers, and the rear panel is fixed as part of the device’s construction. Instead of modularity, the build prioritises a more refined fit and finish to reflect its higher positioning within the CMF line up. While the rear panel is not removable, Nothing offers an optional Universal Cover accessory, sold separately, which can be attached externally to customise the appearance of the device without altering its core structure. The Universal Cover accessory, along with its reference dimensions and design guidelines, was shared with the community, making it possible for third-party and 3D-printed versions to be created. At 7.8mm, weighing just 185 g & carrying IP54 rating, CMF Phone 2 Pro is nearly weightless, 5% thinner than CMF Phone 1 and marks as the slimmest Nothing smartphone ever.^[4]

Rear Camera: A triple-camera setup: 50 MP wide, 8 MP ultrawide, and 50 MP telephoto offering 2× optical zoom & 20X digital zoom with no OIS support for all lenses (EIS-only). Supports up to 4K@30fps recording.

Front Camera: A 16 MP sensor supporting 1080@60fps recording.
