The Community Team and Community Managers are a core position within Nothing, linking the company and its global user base. Their day to day role includes running and maintaining the official community platforms, fostering engagement, building user relationships, directing and amplifying community initiatives such as the Community Edition project devices, and hosting community_events both in-person and online.

The Community Team are the pioneers of the Community Edition project, which began with Phone (2a) Community Edition in 2024. The team brought the project to life and is heavily involved with the collaboration between users and Nothing’s internal teams to release successful, community co-created products.

Beginning in August 2024, a Nothing Newsletter has been posted on nothing.community each month. The newsletters comprise of news and events of the past month and were originally written by Natalie, before she left the company in 2025 when Rob took over. The latest editions have been posted by community team members, Zac and Selin.

The Community Team often featured in Nothing’s Quarterly Update YouTube series which ran from Q3 2022 until Q2 2025. The series evolved over time, starting with a video hosted by Akis in an echoey meeting room and shot on a smartphone. The latter updates were shot in a variety of locations, including the Nothing Store Soho and offices and utilised more professional recording equipment.

The team have hosted a variety of different workshops and live streams over the years, covering a variety of topics, such as the Community Board Observer position, AMAs with Nothing’s staff, and fun quizzes; many of which are still available to watch in the Workshop Archive on Nothing’s Discord server.
