Accessories
CMF by Nothing includes a range of charging accessories under the CMF Power branding. The lineup consists of GaN-based USB chargers designed for smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other USB-powered devices. The chargers focus on compact form factors, multi-port charging support, and compatibility with common fast charging standards. Introduced alongside the broader CMF ecosystem expansion, the CMF Power series reflects the brand’s focus on functional accessories with minimalist industrial design and accessible pricing.
CMF Power 65W GaN
CMF by Nothing announced the Power 65W GaN charger on 26 September 2023, alongside the Buds Pro earbuds and Watch Pro smartwatch.[1] It features two USB-C ports and one USB-A port.[2] The charger uses GaN semiconductor technology, allowing it to deliver up to 65 W total power in a compact form factor. It launched at US $39 (about ₹3,000 or £39).[1] The brick comes in a Dark Grey (nearly black) color; an orange accent version was shown in marketing but US sales used dark grey.[3]
Ports & outputs
2× USB-C + 1× USB-A. A single USB-C port can output up to 65 W (with the other ports idle). If both USB-C ports are used, they supply 45 W + 20 W respectively (total 65 W). The USB-A port delivers up to 36 W.[2]
Protocols
Supports USB Power Delivery (PD 3.0), Quick Charge (QC 4.0+/3.0/2.0), Samsung AFC/9V2A, Huawei SCP/FCP, PPS, Apple 2.4A, DCP, and other fast-charge standards. It also works with MFi‑certified cables and runs on 100–240 VAC (global voltage).[2,1]
Performance
Nothing claims the 65W charger can charge a Nothing Phone (2) to 50% in 25 minutes. Reviews noted it maintains consistent fast charging and good thermal performance with the proper high‑current cables. (No charging cable is included.)[1]
Price
Launched at $39 (₹2,999 in India).[2]
CMF Power 100W GaN
Around September 2024, CMF by Nothing quietly introduced the Power 100W GaN charger without a formal press event. This model has a similar 3‑port design (2× USB-C, 1× USB-A) in dark grey. It was listed on Indian e‑tailers (Flipkart) at ₹4,999 (≈$60) and later appeared on Nothing’s online store. (Nothing’s US store shows it at $39, possibly an introductory or limited price.) Dimensions are roughly 61.5×60.5×30 mm.[4]
Ports & outputs
2× USB-C + 1× USB-A. Each USB-C port can output up to 100 W when used alone. The USB-A port provides up to 36 W. When all three ports are used simultaneously, output splits roughly 10 W (USB-A), 65 W (one USB-C), and 65 W (the other USB-C).[5]
Protocols & features
Built with advanced GaN technology for efficiency. Supports the same wide range of protocols (PD 3.0, QC, PPS, etc.) as the 65W model. It includes multiple safety mechanisms – for example, Notebookcheck reported nine protections (over/under voltage, overheating, short-circuit, etc.) to ensure stable charging.[4]
Performance
Advertised to handle high loads in a compact size. The charger’s listing shows it powering a laptop, earbuds, and phone together. (Split charging on multiple devices is supported, but specific per-port voltages were not disclosed.)[4]
Design
Roughly the size of a notebook power brick, it is lighter than a comparable silicon adapter. It is about 40% smaller than a standard 96W MacBook charger, making it pocket‑friendly. However, its width may block adjacent outlets on a power strip.[6]
Price
Around ₹4,999 in India. Sold in dark grey; a limited orange variant was shown in ads. (Official global launch dates were not announced.)[4]
CMF Power 140W GaN
In late September 2024, an even higher‑power Power 140W GaN charger was spotted on e‑commerce listings.[7] Like the other models, it has two USB-C ports and one USB-A port in a compact dark grey brick.[8] This model supports USB Power Delivery 3.1 for super-fast charging. It was listed in India for about ₹6,000 and in the UK at £65.[7]
Ports & outputs
2× USB-C + 1× USB-A. A single USB-C port can output up to 140 W. The USB-A port is up to 36 W. When all three ports are in use, output is roughly 65 W + 65 W (on two USB-C ports) and 10 W (on USB-A).[5]
Protocols & features
Supports USB PD 3.1 (and likely other fast-charge standards). The Flipkart listing graphics highlighted nine safety protections and intelligent power distribution.[9] The charger is reported to run cooler than average.
Performance
The listing claims it can charge two laptops at once. For example, GizmoChina notes it could charge a 2023 MacBook Pro to ~55% in 30 minutes.[9] It can also charge Nothing smartphones fast – about 66% in 30 minutes for the CMF Phone 1 or Nothing Phone (2a).[9]
Price
Listed for ₹6,000 in India and £65 in the UK. (Nothing’s US site did not list a 140W charger as of early 2025.)[9]
