Nothing Gallery is a first party media gallery app developed by Nothing Technology Limited for Nothing phones. Taking inspiration from Nothing OS minimalistic design, it enables browsing of images and videos with a clean, distraction-free interface.

One of the most highly requested apps since the inception of Nothing OS was a first-party media gallery app. Nothing Gallery was first announced alongside the Nothing OS 3.0 introduction video on 24 September 2024.^[1] Initial feedback from the community was overwhelmingly positive with many eager to find out more and try it for themselves.^[2]

Early Access began in early December 2024 and while many users enjoyed the app's aesthetics, including the design of the Details pane with a monochrome map, some users expressed desire for more features such as built-in image editing.^[3,4] At release, Nothing claimed that the Gallery app was up to 1.4 seconds faster to open from the camera app, and up to 25% faster in applying HDR and portrait effects compared to Google Photos due to optimisation with their hardware.^[1]

In June 2025, Nothing Gallery received its first major update, which included the ability to edit media, with 6 cropping & rotation tools, 12 colour grading tuning parameters, 10 preset filter options and video trimming, volume and speed adjustments.^[5] Then, in October 2025, a further update was made to provide the same editing features for videos.^[6]

Two further updates followed in April 2026 to allow users to draw on images with various brush types, sizes, and colours, and in May 2026 to be able to add Nothing-style text with size, colour, alignment and background adjustments.^[7,8]

The Nothing Gallery includes a number of standard functions expected of a gallery app, as well as some new and unique features too. These comprise of:

• Basic Adjustments: 6 cropping & rotation tools for both images and video, including making adjustments to contrast, white balance, tone curve and saturation. As these editing features are tightly integrated with Nothing's camera app, they're made at full resolution with close to zero compression or quality loss.
• Colour Grading: 12 tuning parameters for images and video.
• Filters: 10 Nothing-designed filters available for both images and video, with intensity adjustments from 0 to 100.
• Video: Trim clips, adjust volume (0 to 100) and adjust slow-motion video speed.
• AI photo categorisation: Quick navigation for different scenes such as Pets, Landscapes, Cityscapes and more. Facial recognition abilities for grouping photos of different people together.
• Image Cutout: Press and hold on a subject to cut it out for copying and sharing.^[5]
