The Nothing Kiosk is a bright red mobile retail installation. Featuring a refurbished, iconic K67 kiosk, a modular design originating in Yugoslavia in 1966, the kiosk first appeared in London’s Covent Garden as a pop-up store in 2021, offering customers the chance to buy an exclusive serialised edition of [[hardware:ear_series#ear_1|Ear (1)]] Black.

===== Covent Garden debut =====
The kiosk first surfaced in December 2021 in Covent Garden, London, where Nothing sold limited-edition [[hardware:ear_series#ear_1|Ear (1)]] Black; laser-engraved for the first 100 sales.((https://nothing.community/d/249))

The kiosk goes international, travelling over 3000 miles from its original location in London to Downtown New York in July 2023 for the [[hardware:phone_2|Phone (2)]] launch. ====== History ======
Nothing Kiosk is a refurbished K67 kiosk, a design originally conceived by Saša Mächtig, in the now-defunct nation of Yugoslavia in 1966. Created as a modular and highly customisable system, K67’s can be arranged in countless configurations to create large or small spaces. By 1999, when production ceased, some 7,500 K67 units had been produced. Their flexibility saw them utilised in various ways, from security booths to newsstands. There’s a rumour that Nothing's K67 used to be a hotdog stand.

K67’s can still be spotted across Eastern Europe, and many were shipped to other countries; their functionality and unique design continue to be appreciated by many.
